Showing a working Optimus V Hotspot for Virgin Mobile. Very simple. Proof it works with internet speed test on PC and Wii. Yes I can load Netflix but it takes forever and a day cause I have poor connection in my home. Update 8/24/2011 : 1. Starting Oct 2011 Virgin Mobile announce they will cap data at 2.5 GB . You will still be able to use the data after 2.5GB but they speeds will be throttle to no more then 256kbps. So technically it will still be unlimited data just not full speed after 2.5GB 2. The hot spot works out of the box with LG Optimus V loaded with android 2.2.1 . Some people have been getting an LG Optmus V with android 2.2.2 and the hotspot doesn't work out of the box. You will have to look into rooting your phone to enable it. So which one you will get when purchasing (2.2.1 or 2.2.2) is luck of the draw
